Katy Perry’s year has been far from rosy, and it seems the thorns of her career struggles have pierced her marriage to Orlando Bloom. Sources close to the couple reveal that the pair have allegedly called it quits and are biding their time to announce the split.

Katy and Orlando’s Relationship: Hanging by a Thread?

“It’s over,” a source confided to Page Six. “They’re waiting for Katy’s tour to wrap up before making the announcement.”

While the insider didn’t spill the beans on when exactly the couple decided to part ways, it’s no surprise that Katy’s recent career hiccups have added strain to their relationship.

Another source revealed to People magazine, “Katy was deeply frustrated following the reception of her new album. It made her very stressed. Orlando was understanding, but it did cause some tension. She was also disappointed in some of the tour reviews. It’s put stress on their relationship.”

Career Woes: The Final Straw?

Katy had high hopes of reviving her career and public image in 2025, following the underwhelming performance of her 143 album. However, things didn’t pan out as expected.

The 11-minute “space” trip stunt to promote her tour backfired, drawing criticism for being gimmicky and wasteful. To make matters worse, her tour has been plagued by lackluster reviews and sluggish ticket sales, which has reportedly taken a toll on her marriage.

Insiders tell Page Six that Bloom has been spending time in Miami solo, fueling speculation that the couple is on the rocks.

This isn’t the first rough patch for Katy and Orlando. The couple, who share a 4-year-old daughter Daisy, previously split in 2017 after about a year together. During an appearance on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, Katy opened up about their early struggles.

“We weren’t really in it from day one. He was because he had just done a huge time of celibacy, and he had set intentions. I was fresh out of a relationship, and I was like, I can’t do this anymore. I need to swim in a different pond, but I had to do a lot real work,” Perry said.

In the same month, Perry told People magazine that while she and Bloom have their disagreements, they tend to resolve them quickly: “Orlando and I, when we argue, we argue kinda hot and fast and then cool really quickly. It’s like, ‘La la la la la, I love you. All right, let’s move on.’”
