Day three of the Sean “Diddy” Combs sex trafficking trial kicked off in a Manhattan courtroom today, with more gripping testimony from Cassie Ventura. The model and actress bravely took the stand once again to share harrowing details of the abuse she allegedly endured during her decade-long relationship with the hip-hop mogul.

Before Ventura could begin her second day of testimony, tensions flared between the prosecution and defense. U.S. Attorney Maurene Comey expressed anger, accusing the defense of withholding exhibits. “We don’t want a trial by ambush,” she asserted. Defense attorney Marc Agnifilo countered, “They have the burden of proof. We don’t have to give the government what we are going to use so they can prepare their witness.”

Cassie Ventura Recounts 2016 Beating

The prosecution presented the court with a 15-minute unedited video showing Diddy allegedly assaulting Cassie in a hotel hallway in 2016. Ventura recounted the brutal incident, recalling, “I don’t remember exactly his words. I’m sure he was calling me something other than my name.” She testified that Diddy told her she couldn’t leave him during the beating.

Ventura described the aftermath of the assault, stating that Diddy showed up at her apartment the next day, creating a chaotic scene. She revealed that she had to wear extra makeup and change her outfit to cover her bruises when attending the premiere of her movie The Perfect Match that same week.

Ventura also revealed disturbing details about Diddy’s alleged “Freak-Off” parties, where ketamine was the drug of choice. She testified that Diddy attempted to blackmail her with videos from these parties to “ruin” her career.

Sunny Hostin: Diddy Looks “Disheveled” in Court

The View host Sunny Hostin attended the first day of the trial and shared her observations on today’s show. “Sean Combs is not the person that we used to see out there,” Hostin said. She described Diddy as looking “very much like a defeated mogul,” with grey hair and dressed in a grey sweater, walking feebly in the courtroom.

“That could be a defense tactic. He has a lot of support in the courtroom, all of his children were there except for one,” Hostin added.

Stay tuned for more updates on the trial as new information becomes available.
